With Thanksgiving closely upon us, I sit and think of things I am thankful for. I am thankful for being a considerate person. I am thankful for being an honest person. I do not gossip, nor spend my time with such small minded people. I am not a bully, nor are my children. I am thankful to have pulled my niece away from weirdo people who teach hate. I am thankful my niece can deer hunt in a deer stand without being overwhelmed with anxiety, to the point of having to leave, crying. Anxiety is a serious, and can be debilitating mental disorder. I am thankful to have my niece away from girls who focus on appearances, and boys, who are allowed to be glued to their smart phones as a babysitter. I am thankful I stand up for what is right, and myself, and others. Those who don’t suck as people.
I am thankful for my wonderful precious husband. He makes my life so luxurious and comfortable. It is nice! It’s nice not to have to punch a clock. It’s nice not to have to leave in the cold in the mornings and get home exhausted to a bunch of messy and loud brats. It is nice to work in my pajamas if I choose. I love it!
I am also thankful for my counselor, psychiatrist, yoga instructor, and life coach. They have taught me many things to help me be aware of the good, and assisted me with the ability to filter out the shitty people by understanding behavior, and awareness. Awareness is key.
It is so nice to be all alone, just me and Barry. Peyton is with my mom to celebrate, and we are going to have a small feast alone tomorrow. I love family, but all my life I can remember chaos on the holidays, having to run so many places. So much divorce and blended families. It sucked! Me and Barry agree, this is the best! Being at home, doing what we love, and that involves many things.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends and readers! ❤️
